I've never thought she does it on purpose. In all the years that he's been coming and going to Xavier's, not once have I ever thought that she means to make me feel like I don't matter when he's around. John used to tell me it was a hero worship thing, no reflection on me, but it was he who rescued her so she would always be attached to him.

He's probably right and I try to play the understanding boyfriend and not show how it bothers me, but that doesn't mean I can't be hurt at the same time.
