It seemed strange that he�d chosen to spend his last night on Earth sitting in
the commissary, drinking black coffee. He smiled as she sat down before glancing
down at the cup in his hands.
�We don�t have coffee on Kelowna.�
�I�ll have to bring you some, wouldn�t want you to go through withdrawal. Daniel
tried to quit once and it wasn�t pretty.� She smiled slightly before reaching
across the table and squeezing his hand. �We�ll miss having you around Jonas.�
�I�ll miss being around.�
Hands entwined they sat in silence and drank their coffee, waiting for the
sunrise.
