“George!”
Daisy sat down on my bed making it rock.
I glanced at the clock and groaned, burying my face into my pillow in the blind
hope that she’d just take the hint and go away.
“George!”…no such luck.
“What Daisy?”
“I can’t sleep…what are you doing?”
“Sleeping.”
“Oh…want some tea?” She holds out the cup of (highly caffeinated) tea and I turn
and stare at her.
“You know drinking that is why you can’t sleep right?”
She glances down. “Oh…well, you’ll just have to keep me company then!”
My head hits the pillow again as I muffle a scream.
