THE STARGATE
MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS
After seven years, with 412
awards won by 153 video makers, we are drawing these awards to a close.
The Stargate Music Video Awards were created because we felt there was not
enough recognition for the fantastic music videos that were being produced in
the fandom. Over the intervening years, things have changed. The Stargate Fan
Awards have expanded their video categories and sites such as Kawoosh now exist
to showcase the talents on offer. As these changes have coincided with our own
decreasing time to devote to running a project such as this, we feel the time is
now right to step back.
We have very much enjoyed running these awards and the contact it has given us
with other Stargate fans. We would like to thank everyone who has ever
nominated, entered or voted in the awards for their invaluable contributions -
obviously, none of this would have been possible without you!
This site will remain online as
a permanent record of the vidding talent this fandom has attracted.
