Donna twirled a strand of Samantha’s hair around her finger and looked across at
her resting form.
They’d have to get up soon, go back to reality and begin counting down to the
moments until she could get to New York or Samantha could come back to D.C,
either way, their next meeting seemed too far away to contemplate.
Samantha sat up and wound her fingers between hers as they shared a smile.
“Donna…We need to get moving soon…I can’t miss my flight.”
She gave an answering sigh before she pulled the other woman closer. “Just 5
more minutes.”
